Once the water drops below about 12°C, your extremities are the first thing to go numb. This collection covers the accessories that fix that: reef boots and split-toe boots, 2mm to 5mm gloves in gauntlet and pull-on styles, and neoprene hoods. Thicker neoprene means more warmth, thinner means more feel and dexterity, so match it to your local conditions.

Thickness guidance

For UK autumn and winter, most surfers run 3mm to 5mm boots and 3mm gloves, stepping up to 5mm and a hood in the coldest months. Solite boots use a heat-mouldable liner for a closer fit. If you need help pairing thicknesses, the shop is happy to advise.
