A hooded wetsuit adds an integrated neoprene hood to a standard full suit, which makes a noticeable difference when water temperature drops below 10°C. The hood seals around your face to stop cold water flushing across your head and into the suit's neck. In the UK, hooded wetsuits are most useful from November through March, especially at exposed breaks on the north and west coasts.
