Our basecoat is a very hard wax and does what the name suggests.
Some surfers prefer to apply a basecoat, then apply a topcoat to this.
West Coast Surf wax is hand crafted on the beautiful and wild West Wales coast.
We began in 2007 by producing the very first ever hand made wax in the range then called Hills Organic Surf Wax.
This was sold widely across the UK and into Europe, before developing into the specialist wax product today which we are now proud to bring to you as the West Coast Surf Wax range, comprising Base coat surf wax, Cool Water surf wax and Cold water waterwaxes.
These waxes are designed by surfers for surfers.
From start to finish, every bar is hand crafted in our production suite, from mixing and pouring, to wrapping and packing.
Every ingredient used is fully sustainable and 100% natural, providing a natural solution to traction, whilst also contributing to less reliance on the use of oil.
We are independently owned and operated; all our products are created and tested by us.

shipping is done from our own warehouse in swansea south wales.
shipping is £2.95 as standard
24hr tracked shipping is £4.95 for under 2kg and £7.95 for over 2kg.
overseas orders are welcome and shipping rates are £6.95 as standard for all orders under 2kg.
Over 2kg a seperate quote will be provided.
Returns are accepted up to 30 days after purchase.
Cost of return will be downto the buyer - goods must be returned in the condition they were sent out.
